About This Fundraiser

Your financial support will change the trajectory and lives of countless young ladies in the MD23 x Melo Girls Basketball Program. Drugs, violence, broken homes, and underperforming schools, particularly in low-income communities, make it difficult for today’s youth to thrive.

Our Program offers basketball as an alternative and an outlet. Our supportive coaches and mentors serve as role models and as the elders in their “village” and are committed to their growth and development as student athletes and as individuals.
 

We are respectfully asking for your consideration in donating to help offset some of the costs associated with outfitting our teams to travel and compete regionally and nationally. These costs include, but are not limited to, uniforms, gear, registration fees, ground transportation, air fare, lodging, and summer scholarships for our most needy student-athletes.
