    About This Fundraiser

    Founded in 2009, the Missoula Robotics Team (MRT 3216) is a dynamic group of approximately 50 high school students spanning all grades from Freshman to Senior, hailing form Big Sky, Hellgate, and Sentinel High Schools in Missoula, Montana.  With the guidance of dedicated mentors, including two Missoula County Public Schools employees, MRT 3216 fosters an inclusive environment where students of diverse backgrounds, form programmers to engineers to business enthusiasts, collaborate to build robots.  The team prioritizes the development of essential life skills such as leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving.  We are passionate about elarning and teaching STEM through FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), combining the excitement of sports with the rigors of science and technology.

    January marks the beginning of a challenging yet exhilarating phase for MRT 3216, as the team dedicates itself to the design and construction of a robot for the upcoming season.  MRT aims to raise more than $70,000 to pay for registration fees, robot parts, and travel to two regional competitions in Ventura, CA and Las Vegas, NV and worlds in Houston, TX.  Your support will help pay for travel, robot parts, and team registration, ensuring the continued growth and success of this exceptional program.
