About This Fundraiser

"Sponsor a Showman"

As Parents, Grandparents, Aunts/Uncles & Friends, we see the hard work our kids put in to their Livestock Projects. We watch as they put in the countless hours in the barn bonding, cleaning, feeding, training, grooming and practicing. All for an opportunity to Compete.  An opportunity to be Seen. An opportunity to Win. 

There is only one winner in the ring on a given day, and those are the moments everyone hopes to achieve!  Sponsor a Showman was born from an idea we had to send encouragement to our kids as they enter the ring and let them know they are supported -  to give them a shoutout! 

How it works:

  • Make a donation to sponsor your favorite showman - any amount is accepted (and appreciated!) -  the Participant is 208 Qualifier - you will add the showman you want to sponsor in the next step. 
  • Enter the showman's full name, the message you want to "shout out"  in the donation notes section, and who the message is from. 
  • During your showman's showmanship class at the 208 Qualifier, our annoucer will deliver your message!  i.e: "John Smith -  go get 'em son! From Dad" 
  • Your message will also be displayed on our Showman Shout-out Display Board throughout the entire weekend.  

Fundraising is vital to the success a great Livestock Show! As a non-profit organization, we rely soley on the generous donations of our sponsors to aid us in in covering all our operational expenses. These funds go direclty to bringing our kids top-notch judges to evaluate, event facility expenses, show photographer and all other administrative expenses! Thank you so much for your support!
