    About This Fundraiser

    General Overview:

    Team New England is one of the largest inner-city basketball clubs on the east coast, Team New England Youth Academy (https://www.teamne.org/ ).  We serve over 700 student-athletes across 7 inner-cities in New England.  Using basketball as the carrot, we pride ourselves on offering tangible opportunities and access beyond the court that these kids would typically never have.  In addition to offering an elite basketball experience where our kids travel the country and are exposed to different cities/states, we offer our student athletes a myriad of different educational and experiential learning activities.  

     

    For example:

    Internship opportunities, Free Summer Enrichment Camp (Boston & Providence), Leadership Retreats, Prep School Placement Opportunities & Character-Development Workshops.

     

    The Ask:

    Due to a decrease in some funding and our simultaneous program growth, we have a goal of:

     

    $60,000 to fully fund both summer enrichment camps 

    Your donation covers:

    Teachers stipend- The staff for the summer enrichment camp will include licensed teachers providing lessons daily.

    Food- We provide every camper a daily breakfast, lunch and snack

    Supplies- Each camper will be equipped with a backpack, journal, school supplies and camp gear

    Field Trips- Our campers go on a weekly field trip.  Our trips vary from educational to pure fun

    Transportation- We provide transportation for each field trip

     

    $15,000 for scholarships to kids who cannot afford their basketball season 

    Your donation covers: Travel, lodging & food

    We travel out of state at least four times per season with our teams.  Two of those travel experiences are flights.  While all kids want to participate in these experiences, some simply cannot afford to do so.  Our program's goal is to never let finances prohibit a deserving student-athlete the opportunities we provide.
